And when at Bupa Hospitals (now Spire Healthcare) Philip successfully delivered rapid profit growth at 4 private hospitals exceeding all annual financial targets each year for over 5 years.  This included securing the  medium term commercial future of the 85 bed Southampton Hospital by extending the product range through the introduction of new added value complex surgery programmes, including bariatric and liver surgery programmes, and achievement of long-term NHS contracts enabling expansion of cardiac surgery.

For Consultant and GP Groups we have already:

• Been appointed as the sole agent for the commercial sales and marketing development of Cowplain Healthspace, the new GP Health Centre due to open in early 2011 in Waterlooville, Hampshire.  The Healthspace offers 1000m² of space for rent to healthcare providers in a fast growing market and is the first such facility provided by Best Practice South, a joint venture between Ashley House and local GPs. 

• Supported the commercial growth of several specialty Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs), including their commercial strategy and forward business plans, and in particular Portsmouth Cardiology Associates

• Advised Lighthouse Medical Ltd, the Isle of Wight GPs consortium, on the commercial potential for the Island’s GP Led Health Centre and Prisons Healthcare Provider Contract
